DISNEY’S HOLLYWOOD STUDIOS

Disney’s Hollywood Studios is the third of the four theme parks built
at the Walt Disney World Resort in Bay Lake, Florida. It opened
on May 1, 1989 and is dedicated to show business, drawing inspiration
from Hollywood’s heyday in the 1930s and 1940s. With over 10 million
tourists it’s one of the most visited theme parks in the US and worldwide.
DISNEY’S ANIMAL KINGDOM
ANNUAL ATTENDANCE: 10,198,000
Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park is the fourth, of the four theme
parks built at the Walt Disney World Resort in Bay Lake, Florida,
southwest of Orlando. It was dedicated and opened to the public
on Earth Day, April 22, 1998. It is the second-largest theme park in
the world, behind Six Flags Great Adventure in Jackson, New Jersey
and one of the most visited in the world with over 10 million visitors a year.
DISNEYLAND PARK (PARIS)
ANNUAL ATTENDANCE: 10,430,000
Disneyland Park, originally known as Euro Disneyland, is the first of
two theme parks built at Disneyland Paris in Marne-la-Vallée, France
and opened on April 12, 1992. With over 10 million tourists each year
it’s one of the most visited theme parks in the world.
EPCOT
ANNUAL ATTENDANCE: 11,229,000
Epcot opened in 1982 and it became the second of four theme parks
built at Walt Disney World in Bay Lake, Florida, near Orlando.
The park is famous for being represented by Spaceship Earth, a
geodesic sphere that also serves as an attraction, and in 2013 the
park attracted over 11.22 million guests, making it the fifth
most-visited theme park in the world.
TOKYO DISNEYSEA
ANNUAL ATTENDANCE: 14,084,000
Tokyo DisneySea is a theme park at the Tokyo Disney Resort located
in Urayasu, Chiba, near Tokyo. It opened on September 4, 2001 and
it is the fourth most-visited theme park with more than 14 million visitors.
DISNEYLAND
ANNUAL ATTENDANCE: 16,202,000
Disneyland is the first of two theme parks built at the Disneyland
Resort in Anaheim, California. It opened its gates on July 17, 1955
and it is the only theme park designed and built under the direct
supervision of Walt Disney. In 2013 the park hosted approximately
16.2 million guests, making it the third most-visited park
that calendar year.
TOKYO DISNEYLAND
ANNUAL ATTENDANCE: 17,214,000
Tokyo Disneyland is a huge theme park at the Tokyo Disney Resort in
Urayasu. It is easily the most popular theme park in Asia and the
second most-visited theme park worldwide with
17.2 million visitors in 2013 alone.
MAGIC KINGDOM
ANNUAL ATTENDANCE: 18,588,000
Magic Kingdom was the first built of the four theme parks at the
Walt Disney World Resort in Bay Lake, Florida, and is the most-visited
theme park in the world. In 2013, the park hosted 18.5 million visitors,
making it the most-visited theme park for the fifth consecutive year.
